Due to financial constraints, bands and discos are usually only put on when there is a member's function but we still continue with the
Halloween and Christmas entertainment. Please check the future entertainments page for more details.
During the summer, some of our events are supplemented by a barbecue on our patio. A popular addition is the fortnightly poker games which take place on Wednesday.
We hold a meat raffle every Sunday lunchtime and a well supported Christmas Raffle. From time to time we run drinks raffles in support of
charity, including one after our New Years Day Football match.
Our members also use the club to celebrate weddings, anniversaries etc and to commemorate funerals.
Once a year, we run a trip organised by our President for senior citizens to the seaside. We have run trips to horse racing and dog racing meetings and also to the theatre and to other events.
